A concise and affordable introduction
to one of the world's most scenic and historic countries.
Three nights at the hotel Villa Casagrande in Figline Valdarno, just
outside of Florence in the beautiful region of Tuscany and two
nights at the Hotel Genova in Rome. Enjoy regional dining and spectacular sights.
Day 1
Sat., Feb. 14 |
Travel to Italy via JFK,
Milan and Florence |
Day 2
Sun., Feb. 15 |
Scenic ride through Tuscany.
Tour of Arezzo, then on to the villa for wine tasting,
welcome dinner and overnight. |
Day 3
Mon., Feb. 16 |
Short ride to Florence where
the day is yours. Optional tour: see David, the Duomo, Giotto's
Bell Tower, the Gates of Paradise doors, Signora Square and
more. Dinner on our own in Florence, then return
for overnight at Villa Casagrande. |
Day 4
Tues., Feb. 17 |
Explore the Tuscan countryside. Independent walking tour of San Gimignano in the morning. Depart for Siena
late morning for an afternoon to explore this medieval town.

Day 5
Wed., Feb. 18 |
Early morning departure for
Rome. Upon arrival we enjoy a panoramic tour of Rome.
Optional afternoon "Imperial Tour of Rome" including the
Colosseum and Roman Forum. Dinner on our own tonight. Overnight
at Hotel Genova in
Rome. |
Day 6
Thurs., Feb. 19 |
After breakfast the day is
yours to explore. Optional full-day tour of "The
Vatican Museum and Renaissance Rome." Overnight at Hotel
Genova in Rome. |
Day 7
Fri., Feb. 20 |
Return home via Rome to JFK. |
