Mike DeAngelis
Singer,
songwriter and rhythm guitarist Mike DeAngelis started his solo career
in the 80's on the Cape Cod circuit. Mike joined up with John
Haggerty in Albany in 1984 to form "The Kingpins," playing 80's pop
tunes. In 1985 Mike joined John's Celtic/folk band, "The Wilde
Irishmen" which evolved into the popular band "The Porters."
In
1992 Mike and John joined up with Rick Bedrosian to form "Hair of the
Dog."
In the spring of 2011 Mike also began
performing with a new band, "Standard Clams" featuring Scott
Appicelli (drums), Rob Cohen (guitar), Ed Tourge (bass) and
Mike (vocals). The jazz quartet focuses on old standards
such as Sinatra, Darin, and Bennett. Check it out at

Mike released his solo CD "Son of a
Dunigan" in 2005.
