As we sprint towards spring, here's what's new
in 2003. "Let It Flow", our brand new CD, is doing quite
well, especially out of the area. I have heard back from many Celtic
radio hosts and they all seem to really like it. Along with
"Release The Hounds" and "at The Parting Glass" we
now have a very good trio of CDs. 2001's "at The Parting
Glass" still seems to be the fan's favorite. In 2004, look for a
"greatest hits" CD containing some fine unreleased outtakes
from the "Let It Flow" recording sessions, several of the
best tracks from our out of print CDs, and a few of the most popular
songs from our current three releases. I have no doubt that this next
album will be our best.
Beginning in 2003, we will be featuring Scott Apicelli on drums for
some of our shows. It's something that we have been wanting to do for
quite some time but we could never find the right person. Scott is an
incredible drummer and he will be a real asset to Hair Of The Dog. He
has been working with us since the early fall. We are all excited
about finally playing concerts with him.
Don't forget that there is still time to register for our 2003 Tour Of
Ireland. This will be our fifth tour and they are always a lot of fun.

When Hair Of The Dog is off, why not go check out The
McKrells? I might just be playing bass with them. Since
leaving The McKrells in 1996 I have kept in touch with Kevin and the
boys (and girl) and performed with them from time to time. Since my
replacement left the band a couple of years ago, I have been playing
with them a lot more. Their new CD "Hit The Ground Running"
is fabulous. It's available at their shows and at most of the stores
that our albums are. That's all for now. Peace, out.
