JANUARY
Hello everybody. We have
been very busy and we thought that you might like to know what we
are up to.
THE NEW
CD
Work is continuing on our latest studio recording. We are
truly sorry that so many of you were disappointed that the new Hair
Of The Dog CD did not come out in 2006 as we had promised. It
will be worth the wait. This new album is going to blow
everyone away. We can promise you without reservation that the
as yet untitled CD will be finished and available in 2007.
Stay tuned.
TRAVELING BAND
We are definitely taking the show on the road this year, beginning
on St. Patrick's Day.

Don't look for us in our usual haunts the week of March 17th.
Hair Of The Dog is hopping on a plane and flying to Port St.
Lucie, Florida for the big day. The St. Patrick's concert
is open to the public. For all of the details, go to our
Schedule page.

Next up is a Yankee Trails Bus
Trip to Turning Stone Casino April 28 for a day of gambling
and then on to LeMoyne Manor in Liverpool, NY for a Hair Of
The Dog concert. The bus departs at 10 a.m. from the Yankee
Trails Depot in Rensselaer, NY and returns that same evening.
The $49.95 ticket includes parking at the depot, a playing bonus at
the casino and admission to the 8 p.m. concert. Tickets are
available at Hair Of The Dog concerts and by emailing the band at
Rick@hair-of-the-dog.com
. Please include your name and a day and evening telephone
number.

All of you Beatle fans should
know that Rick is sponsoring a Magical Mystery Tour to London and
Liverpool, England, November 10-16, 2007. This is a trip
of a lifetime for John, Paul, George, Ringo and Pete fanatics, and
features plenty of mop-top mayhem. There are pilgrimages to
many of the Fab Four's spawning places and hangouts as well as other
British attractions. The trip includes a London theater
ticket, breakfasts, two dinners, hotels, air and private British
coach transportation. For more details, go to
Rick’s bio page.

Hair Of The Dog's seventh Tour
Of Ireland will be February 16-22, 2008. These tours
usually sell out and are always a blast. Overnights will be in
Killarney and the beautiful coastal town of Kinsale. As
always, you can kiss the Blarney Stone and shop (and drink) 'till
you drop. We've added many opportunities for optional golfing
and other side trips too. For those of you that might want to
customize your vacation, Hammond Tours can assist you with add-on
extensions to any number of other exciting European destinations.
Visit the Road Trips page to find out
more.

OCTOBER
Hi Everybody. It sure was awesome
to see so many of you in 2007. '07 was a fantastic year for us. As
always, we want to thank our many fans, longtime friends and
understanding families. Without you, there would be no Hair Of The
Dog. We're now in our fifteenth year. Here's hoping for fifteen
more.
Hair
Of The Dog's long awaited CD "Donegal"
is finally complete and available. Over two years in the making,
"Donegal" is our first new studio recording in ten years. It's also
our most ambitious. "Donegal" features six original songs (four
written by Mike and two penned by Kevin McKrell), several
traditional songs, and a few tunes by some of our favorite artists,
including the late Tommy Makem. It's also our first album featuring
the talents of drummer/producer Scott Apicelli. Guests include
Joanie Madden from Cherish The Ladies, Professor Louie from The Band
and The Crowmatix, Doug Moody and Chris Leske from The McKrells and
organ guru Tony Perrino. We hope that you enjoy listening to
"Donegal" as much as we enjoyed making it. The first pressing of
"Donegal" has something for everyone, including a few typos. The
mistakes have since been corrected and those first copies may be
collectors items some day!
It looks like 2008 is going to be
another fabulous year for Hair Of The Dog. Besides our numerous
annual stops at concert halls and festival sites, we'll be appearing
at some new venues including The Irish American Home and The Greater
Hartford Irish Festival in Glastonbury, CT. And as always, look for
us at our home away from home, The Parting Glass in Saratoga
Springs, NY. Until we meet again, happy trails.
peace,
Rick and The Boys
